One of that I usually use is without explaining the story and just directly going into the role. You can act like you don’t know her and you are trying to seduce her or you can change your voice a bit.
Another common approach I like is the “dream I had.” Tell her that you saw her with a hot guy being naughty and you were turned on by it and not at all jealous. And look closely at her reaction, see if she is interested in the rest of the story. If she was then you can continue the story on that baseline or add branches the next time.
What if she judges me?

It is important to focus on her type of role-playing than yours. Remember if you want to experience a cuckold fantasy then the focus should be on her and in whatever way she comfortable with.
Another good approach is to declare the bedroom a judgment-free zone.
In order to have truly great sex, you must feel free to talk about your fantasies and desires without judgment. Before role-playing, make a pact with your partner that you’ll never laugh at each other‘s sexual performance, fantasies, or choices — and commit to keeping your sex life private. Don’t share explicit details, even with your closest girlfriends. Sex is vulnerable, and in order to fully explore it freely, we have to know that others will not be told about our proclivities. Once you have that guarantee out of the way, both of you will feel more comfortable leaning into your kinky sides.
Do I need to buy lots of costumes and toys?
Imagination is a powerful thing, so costumes in role-playing aren’t a requirement. If you’re broke or uninterested in wigs, hats, and costumes, go ahead and skip it. But if dressing up helps you get into “character,” go for it.
One of the easiest costumes for cuckolds can be a mask with a handsome guy’s face on it. In this way, if she is interested in sleeping with another man then she will enhance her imagination.

It is also possible to even act as different men in the same scenario who is after your wife.
It is worth mentioning to add details like a guy who is trying to hit on her, you notice the ring on her finger but you don’t care and want her anyway. If she needs, give some time to process this scenario. She may feel uncomfortable with the idea of cheating on you.
3. Where are your limits?
You need to know her limits first. As mentioned before she may not be comfortable with the idea of cheating first so you may need a different world where you two are not together. Or you are with her but you gave her a free hall pass or you are experiencing an open relationship in this scenario. The more you know about each other’s limits easier the story will go.
Before losing yourself in a character, be sure to let your partner know what you’re comfortable doing and what’s going too far, especially if you’re experimenting with a punishment scenario. If you get caught engaged in espionage (you dirty spy, you!), do you want a verbal reaming or a light spanking on the butt? The same goes for when you’re playing a role that triggers an emotional response. Let your partner know your limits, as well as you should know her limits.
This also helps if you want to know that your wife or girlfriend is actually comfortable with having a cuckolding fantasy or not. Because in all fairness you are just testing the water and this is just a fantasy so there is actually nothing serious to blame you.
4. Have FUN
After all this planning, it might feel like you’re about to audition for a role in Hollywood. If you break character and burst into laughter, don’t sweat it and move on.
People often feel silly and ridiculous when they start role-playing. Pushing past that self-judgment is crucial to getting to the fun stuff. Try throwing yourself into a role as though you were on stage, reading from a script.
But the most important commitment to make when role-playing is not to judge — yourself or your partner. It’s the key to opening the door to the many sexy characters that live within you both.
